Lions is a mixed Year 3 and 4 class of 29 children. We are taught by Miss Cunningham and supported by Mrs Bromley and Mrs Yakoob. Mrs Barlow teaches us on a Thursday afternoon.

Below is some important information about our class.

Homework and spellings are uploaded to Teams on a Monday. Homework should be handed in ‘electronically’ the following Monday via your child’s private channel on Teams and their spelling test will take place at school.                                                          

We love reading in Lions class! Children can choose 2 books. One to read at school and one to take home (returned when finished). It is recommended that children read for 20 minutes per day, either in class or at home. After the children have read a book, they will complete a quiz on accelerated reader.

End of Autumn term - Lions have read 4,500,000 words!

Websites we use:

SPELLING SHED is where children can play games that will reinforce their phonics and spelling.

TT ROCKSTARS is where the children can practice their times tables.

PURPLE MASH is used in school and can be accessed at home. There are many different activities that the children can access.

ACCELERATED READER is used to track your child's reading progress. 

A document of your child’s passwords has been uploaded to their private channel on Teams and they have a copy of this at school.
